Golf Travels to Connecticut for Yale Spring Invitational

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After a fourth-place finish at the Princeton Invitational last weekend, the Temple golf team returns to action at the Yale Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 16. The 15-team event will be held at the par-70, 6,825-yard Yale University Golf Course. The tournament will consist of 36 holes on Saturday.
Previewing the Owls
> Junior co-captain Conor McGrath, who leads the Owls with a 71.72 stroke average, had the best fall of any Temple golfer in school history. He finished second overall at the Princeton Invitational with a four-under 209.
> Sophomore Graham Chase ranks second on the team with a 73.34 stroke average. He carded a one-under 212 to tie for fifth overall at the Princeton Invitational.
> Senior co-captain Dawson Anders (73.62) is third for the Cherry and White. He looks to build momentum on his best three-round score of the season at the Princeton Invitational (three-under 210), as he finished third overall in the tournament.
> Freshman Ethan Whitney (74.27) ranks fourth for the Owls in stroke average.
> Freshman Joey Morganti (76.71) is making his first start of the spring for Temple.

> The tournament is hosted by Yale, which will have two teams in the field. The other teams in the field are Brown, Drexel, Dartmouth, Fairfield, Fordham, Hartford, Hofstra, Holy Cross, Niagara, Penn, Sacred Heart, and Siena.
