AAC Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll Release

IRVING, Texas – On Wednesday, the Temple volleyball team was picked to finish 11th in the American Athletic Conference preseason poll, as voted on by league's coaches.
Temple is led by first-year head coach Linda Hampton Keith. Her squad features 11 returners, including redshirt-senior Peyton Boyd and sophomore Taylor Davenport. The pair are the leading offensive returners to this year's team as both players notched 150 kills in 2021. The 2020 AAC Libero of the Year, Falanika Danielson is back for her third season, hunting her 1000th career dig. The sophomore Danielson enters this season with 798 career digs. Sophomore setter Patrycja Zielinska guides the Temple attack after recording 827 assists a season ago.
The Owls kick off the season on Friday with a pair of matches during the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing Cherry and White Challenge in McGonigle Hall. Temple will take on Seton Hall at noon ET and Delaware at 7 p.m. ET. Admission is free to all fans for home matches and matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
