Women’s Tennis Closes Out Villanova Invite

PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's tennis closed out their first weekend of tournament play for the fall of 2022 on Sunday morning, facing off against Delaware, Drexel and Villanova throughout the weekend.

"We had a very successful opening weekend," head coach Steve Mauro said. "We played really well in both doubles and singles play. We've been experimenting with different doubles combinations, as it's still very early in the fall season, but so far, we're really happy with our performances."

The Owls will return to action next weekend, as they travel across the city to Penn for the annual Cissie Leary Invite. Tournament play will begin on Friday, Sept. 23 and take place throughout the weekend, ending on Sept. 25.
