BIRMINGHAM, ALA.– Temple women's soccer (2-13-3, 0-9-0 AAC) recorded a 4-0 loss at the UAB (6-6-5, 2-3-4 AAC) Thursday night. This was the final game of the season for the Owls.
How it Happened
- The game began with a shot to the bottom right corner of the net by Beky Myers.
- Myers the. headed a shot on goal off a Phoebe Hollin corner kick, which was blocked by UAB's goalkeeper.
- UAB scored three goals throughout the first half.
- Alexa Swetz and Sabrina Campbell each knocked shots off in the first half.
- UAB scored the final goal in the 51st minute.
- Caroline Oestergaard kicked a hard, close-range shot off a Myers pass., but couldn't convert
- Taylor Vecchione made four saves throughout the match.
