Mauro Announces Signing of Richter, Ozturk, and Vaidya

PHILADELPHIA- Head Coach Steve Mauro has announced the signing of Kelly Richter, Irmak Ozturk, and, walk-on, Aditi Vaidya.
From Aschaffenburg, Bavaria, Richter will join the Owls after from Gulf Coast High School in Naples, Florida. She was a finalist in singles at the Florida State Championships her senior year. Richter transferred to Gulf Coast from Privatgymnasium Mannheim following her junior year.
A native of Beylikdüzü, Istanbul, Ozturk will come to Temple from Bahcesehir Okyanus High School in Istanbul, Turkey. She was a U16 Turkey Singles and Doubles Champion her senior year, a two-time U16 Europe Singles and Doubles Champion and U14 Europe Doubles finalist junior year and achieved semi-finals for Itf J30 singles and doubles and U12 Europe singles sophomore year.
A native of Wexford, Pennsylvania, Vaidya attends Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School where she was nationally ranked all four years. After winning several national tennis tournaments each year, USTA ranked Vaidya no. 221 freshman year, no. 342 sophomore year, and no. 326 junior and senior year.
"We are very excited to have all three of these young ladies join our team next year," said Mauro. "Each of them are very talented and experienced players who will add a lot to our team. We are looking forward to seeing them in the fall."
