Owls in the NFL: Week 9

PHILADELPHIA — At the midpoint of the NFL season, a few of our former Owls find themselves atop their respective divisions. As Philadelphia, Baltimore, New Orleans and Jacksonville are in first place.
Haason Reddick (2013-16) and the Philadelphia Eagles beat NFC East division rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, 28-23. Reddick recorded two tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss, one pass defended, and two quarterback hits.
Rock Ya-Sin (2018) and the Baltimore Ravens dominated the Seattle Seahawks, 37-3.
Keith Kirkwood (2014-17) and the New Orleans Saints beat the Chicago Bears, 24-17.
Arnold Ebiketie (2017-20) and the Atlanta Falcons lost in a 31-28 shootout to Minnesota. Ebiketie still recorded three tackles and one sack.
Sam Franklin (2016-19) and the Carolina Panthers were unable to remain in the win column, as they lost to the Indianapolis Colts, 27-13.
On Sunday Night, Dion Dawkins (2013-16), Tyler Matakevich (2012-15), and the Buffalo Bills lost to the Cincinnati Bengals, 24-18. The Bills offense was still able to gain over 300 yards.
Brandon McManus (2009-12), Christian Braswell (2018-20), and the Jacksonville Jaguars had their bye week.
