Temple Football Adds Seven Players To Recruiting Class

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple Owls added to their first full recruiting class under head coach Stan Drayton, adding seven student-athletes to the roster, bringing the offseason total to 32 new players.

Drayton was named the Temple head coach on December 15, 2021, which was National Signing Day one year ago. He supplemented that class with several signees a few months later.

In December, Drayton was able to add a mix of 20 high school recruits and two Junior College transfers. He supplemented that group with three transfer portal players. Nearly half the class came from Temple's footprint with five players from Pennsylvania and five from New Jersey. Drayton also recruited hard in Florida adding eight from the Sunshine State. There were also four international players - from Australia, Canada, England, and the Bahamas.
