Temple Holds Annual Pro Day - 2023

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple Football program played host to its annual Pro Day this afternoon as nine former Owls participated in the event in front of a group of NFL scouts representing over a dozen teams. With no invitation to the NFL Combine this year for these players, today's Pro Day marked the best opportunity for the athletes to showcase their talent in front of NFL personnel.

Prospective NFL players had measurements taken and did the bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 40-yard dash, and three-cone drill. The former Owls also ran position drills to help showcase their talent with the ball or against another man.

Participating players include 2022 Temple seniors: WR Jose Barbon, DT Xach Gill, OL Adam Klein, OL Isaac Moore, P Mackenzie Morgan, CB Cameron Ruiz, WR Adonicas Sanders, and SAF Jalen Ware.

Additional student-athletes working out at Temple's STAR Complex included former Owl DE Will Rodgers. In addition a trio of players from local schools - QB Carlton Aiken (Pace), WR Jerome Kapp (Kutztown), and DL Tyler Tate (Millersville) - were participants.

The NFL Draft starts on Thursday, April 27 and will be held in Kansas City, Missouri.
