Jessica Reo Appointed to the NCAA Division I Women’s Rowing Committee

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director/Senior Women's Administrator Jessica Reo has been named to the NCAA Division I Women's Rowing Committee. Reo will serve a four-year term on the committee beginning September 1, 2023.
"I am honored to represent Temple University and participate again as a member of the NCAA Division I Women's Rowing Committee," said Reo. "I look forward to working with the NCAA and the other appointed committee members over the next four years."
"Jessica is one of the top administrators I have had the pleasure of working with and will be a valuable addition to the NCAA Women's Rowing Committee," said Temple University Vice President and Director of Athletics Arthur Johnson. "She has been instrumental in coordinating our efforts to host the 2023 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships and has the perfect background for this committee."
Reo, who previously served a four-year term on the committee from 2011-15, is currently serving as the chair of the local organizing committee set to host the 2023 NCAA Women's Rowing Championship on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J. from May 26-28.
A veteran athletics administrator with 20 years on Division I senior staffs, Reo joined the Temple athletics staff in August 2019. She previously served four years as the senior associate athletics director for compliance and special projects at Florida International. Prior to FIU, she served 12 years on the UCF athletics staff (2003-15), the last seven as senior associate athletics director/senior women's administrator.
Reo also spent seven years at the University of Miami, serving first as a compliance coordinator for rules education and documentation and the last four years as a compliance coordinator for athletic services. She began her professional career as an assistant sports information director at Clemson University, where she spent two years publicizing Clemson athletics.
