Temple Marketing Named 2023 Marketing Team of the Year Finalist

WESTLAKE, Ohio - The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has announced the top three submissions in each group will be recognized for their marketing efforts in 2023, with Temple Athletics Marketing being one of the three Group 1 Finalists. One team in each group will be named the 2023 Marketing Team of the Year, presented by PrestoSports.
In its eleventh year, the nominations for the Marketing Team of the Year Award spanned across a diverse amount of divisions throughout the Association's membership. The NACMA Marketing Team of the Year Award was created to show the type of impact that a marketing team has, not only in the athletics department, but the campus and surrounding communities as well. The finalists for this award were carefully selected by NACMA Past Presidents. Â
"It's truly an honor to be nominated for such a prestigious award among the best college athletics marketing departments in the country," said Scott Walcoff, Senior Associate AD/External Operations. "It speaks to the outstanding and talented staff members that we have not only in our athletics marketing department but also in the many other departments from branding/digital media and video production to strategic communications and Institutional Advancement who we collaborate with on a daily basis. This nomination is a team effort."
Temple is nominated against Maryland and Texas for the honor. The Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday, June 12 starting at 10:00 a.m. ET. The ceremony will announce the winners of the 2023 Marketing Team of the Year, presented by PrestoSports.
