PHILADELPHIA - The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) announced at their annual convention last week that the Temple University Athletics Marketing Department won two First Place Awards in the categories of Year Over Year Revenue Increase (Women's Basketball) and Community Engagement. Temple also finished in second place for the Athletics Marketing Team of the Year Award.  Â
"I couldn't be prouder of our talented marketing team," said Scott Walcoff, Senior Associate AD of External Operations for Temple Athletics. "It's truly an honor to receive these awards and be recognized nationally by your peers. It's also a testament to the amazing staff we have in Digital Strategy/Branding, Video Production, Ticket Sales, Strategic Communications, and Community Relations whom we work with collaboratively on a daily basis to promote our brand, engage with the community, and put on a show for our fans." Â
Initiated in 2003, the NACMA Best of Awards program honors outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions from college Athletics Departments across the country. Awards are presented in 20 categories, with each category divided into three groups based upon school size and conference affiliations to promote fairness.
