PHILADELPHIA — Head women's soccer coach Nick Bochette has announced the 2023 women's soccer schedule. The Owls will face a compelling set of opponents, including four City Six teams, the most Temple has faced in one season since 2007. Last week, the American Athletic Conference welcomed six new members to the fold, the Cherry & White will face off against five of them in 2023. Temple has a home heavy slate this season, with 10 fixtures taking place at Temple Sports Complex. Attendance is free to all fans.

"We're very excited for our 2023 slate of matches," Bochette stated. "There has been a lot of changes within our program and within the American Athletic Conference, and we believe our schedule is full of opportunities for our group to show the level we can reach and what we're made of."

Temple begins the 2023 campaign hosting William & Mary on Aug. 17, this will be the first regular season event for any Temple program in the 2023-24 academic year. After a trip to Baltimore, Md. to face Loyola (8/20), the Owls return home for three straight home matches against Rider (8/24), Villanova (8/27), and Lehigh (8/31) to round out August.

The Owls will kick off the month of September with a trip to BIG EAST opponent Providence on Sept. 3, it will be the first-ever meeting between the two sides. The squad will then return to Philadelphia for a matchup against Saint Joseph's on Sept. 7. Temple begins its second three game homestand of the year with La Salle on Sept. 10. The AAC portion of the slate kicks off four days later with the South Florida Bulls visiting North Broad (9/14). The Cherry & White will play its final non-conference game of the season against Penn on Sept. 17.

TU will take its first conference road trip of the year, heading south to face FAU. The Sept. 21 match will be the first meeting Temple has had against one of the newcomers to the AAC. The Owls host Charlotte on Sept. 28 and hit the road as the calendar flips to October to face ECU (10/5). The squad will host a pair of Texas schools in Rice (10/12) and UTSA (10/15) to close the home portion of the slate.

Temple closes the slate with three straight road matchups. The Owls will travel west to face Tulsa on Oct. 19, Memphis on Oct. 22, and will round out the regular season with UAB on Oct. 26. The American Athletic Conference tournament will be hosted at the Premier Sports Campus located in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, from Oct. 31 – Nov. 5.
