Men’s Basketball Announces 2023-24 Non-Conference Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Temple Men's Basketball Head Coach Adam Fisher announced the Owls' 2023-24 non-conference schedule today with the Cherry and White playing officially 13 games, starting with Maryland Eastern Shore at the Liacouras Center on Nov. 6.
"I am extremely excited about our non-conference schedule which kicks off on Nov. 6th," said Fisher. "Our staff did an excellent job of putting together a challenging schedule to help prepare us for the AAC. We look forward to having five games in the Liacouras Center in front of our home fans, and the great opportunity to play in two NBA arenas.
The Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu will present an immense challenge for our team to end the non-conference schedule. Our team can't wait to see our students, alumni, the community, and all the Temple fans in the Liacouras Center all season long."
The UMES game is the first of five non-conference homes contests that include Columbia (Nov. 18), Ole Miss (Nov. 22), La Salle (Nov. 29), and Bloomsburg (Dec. 6).
Temple will play three true road games starting at Navy on Nov. 10 in the Veterans Classic. Next up is a road trip to Drexel (Nov. 14) for the team's first game of the new Philadelphia Big 5 Classic. The Owls round out their road schedule against VCU on Dec. 16.
The remaining five non-conference games will be played at neutral sites, starting with the championship tripleheader of the Philadelphia Big 5 Classic at the Wells Fargo Center on Dec. 2. Next will be a trip to the Barclays Center to play Albany in the NABC Brooklyn Showcase on Dec. 10. The final three games will be in Hawaii in the Diamond Head Classic. The Owls' first opponent is Nevada on Dec. 21 with the final two games coming on Dec. 22 and 24.
Season ticket deposits can be made by calling the Temple Ticket Sales Office at 215-204-TIXX (8499).
The American Athletic Conference schedule is expected to be announced in early September.
