Men’s Basketball American Athletic Conference Dates Announced

PHILADELPHIA - The American Athletic Conference announced its 2023-24 men's basketball schedule today and Temple will open its 18-game conference slate on the road game against USF on Jan. 4. The Owls' AAC home opener will be four days later (Jan. 7) when Wichita State travels to the Liacouras Center.
Besides its home AAC opener with the Shockers, Temple will host three conference opponents in January with East Carolina (Jan. 10), completing the first pair of two-game home stands. The Owls' other Liacouras Center foes in the month include a first-time AAC meeting with Rice (Jan. 20) and a completion of the home-and-home series with USF on Jan. 24. The Owls' remaining January road games include a two-game Texas trip starting with North Texas (Jan. 13), a first-ever meeting with the Mean Green, and then SMU on Jan. 16. The month concludes with a road game at East Carolina on Jan. 28.
February opens with a trip to the Big Easy to take on Tulane (Feb. 4). That is followed with home games against Memphis (Feb. 8) and Charlotte (Feb. 11). The Owls then travel to 2023 NCAA Final Four participant Florida Atlantic for a first-ever meeting against another new conference member on Feb. 15. UTSA, another first-time opponent, completes the Cherry and White February home schedule on Feb. 18 with the month ending at Wichita State (Feb. 25) and Rice (Feb. 28).
March features home games with Tulsa (Mar. 2) and UAB (Mar. 7), marking the first-ever meeting against the Blazers in the Liacouras Center. The 18-game AAC schedule comes to an end on Mar. 10 at UTSA.
The 2024 American Athletic Conference Championship will once again be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas from Mar. 13-17.

Single-game tickets will go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. by visiting OwlsTix.com. Full season ticket packages are still available by calling the Temple Ticket Sales Office at 215-204-8499 and include benefits such as exclusive access to a preseason party with the Temple players and coaches, a season ticket holder gift, and savings off single-game pricing. Information regarding partial season ticket packages (Weekend Plan) will be announced soon.
