SAN ANTONIO – Temple women's soccer made the trip to San Antonio for their sixth conference match of the season, suffering a 3-0 defeat on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore goalkeeper Tamsin Bynoe recorded seven saves during the match.

How it happened

The game began with both teams exchanging offensive opportunities.
UTSA took their first shot in the 2nd minute and earned three corner kicks within the first five minutes.
In the 8th minute, Phoebe Hollin made a vital clearance after a corner kick slipped through Tamsin Bynoe's grasp.
The scoring began in the 34th minute with a penalty kick. UTSA then added to their lead in the 62nd and 74th minutes with a left-footed shot that found the back corner of the net.

By the numbers

Carly Steinberg contributed significantly from the bench, playing 23 minutes in the center midfield.
The Owls faced eight shots in the second half, keeping the score within reach.
Continuing their five-defender formation from the previous game, the team recorded two defensive blocks and two clearances.
