PHILADELPHIA – The Temple men's soccer team drew against FIU 0-0 on Saturday afternoon from TSC. Flannan Riley recorded his third clean sheet as the Owls remain in the sixth spot in the AAC standings, still in the AAC Championship picture.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Temple had a scoring chance in the 19th minute with shots from Elliot Rigbert and Nikolai Zapolskikh.
Xavier Rimpel had another chance in the 57th minute, sparking a corner-kick opportunity for the Owls.
TU's backline held strong from the 58-60 minutes, denying FIU any shots despite multiple corner chances.
The Owls had two more scoring chances with shots from Rocco Haeufgloeckner and George Medill in the 65th and 67th minutes, respectively.

BY THE NUMBERS

This was Flannan Riley's third clean sheet of the season and the sixth overall for TU.
Temple has allowed 17 goals this season, the third fewest in the AAC.
The Owls now have a record of 1-2-3 in conference play, placing sixth in the AAC. TU will next face Tulsa (1-3-1) who are in eighth place.
The Owls completed their home slate with a record of 2-2-3 with wins against Villanova and Mercyhurst.
Entering the final week of the AAC schedule, Temple sits two points ahead of Tulsa and UAB, who each have four points, in the race for the final tournament spot.

The Owls will close out their regular season schedule on Friday, Nov. 1 on the road against Tulsa. The action is slated to start at 8:00 p.m. EST.
