Dezonie Named to AAC, Big 5 Weekly Honor Rolls

PHILADELPHIA - Shane Dezonie of the Temple University men's basketball team has been named to the weekly honor rolls for the American Athletic Conference and the Philadelphia Big 5 for the week of February 19-25.
Dezonie had his second career double-double as the Owls rallied to defeat Wichita State in overtime on Sunday. The junior guard scored 14 with a personal best 11 rebounds. Seven of his caroms came on the offensive glass, including an offensive rebound and putback to seal the win with 20 seconds remaining. Overall, he was 4-for-8 from the field in the contest and 5-of-6 at the line.
Temple is back in action on Wednesday, February 28 at Rice. Tipoff from Tudor Fieldhouse in Houston is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. EST.
