Fundraising Event Galvanizes Support for Women's Sport at Temple
Temple University Athletics proudly announces its upcoming event: Diamond Dreams: Investing in Women's Sports at Temple. The event is aimed at advancing fundraising opportunities for all women's sports within Temple Athletics. Scheduled to take place at Temple University on February 10, 2024 from 1:00pm – 2:30pm, Diamond Dreams will precede the women's basketball game versus the University of South Florida at 3:00 pm and is expected to generate both funds and awareness for all women's sports programs at Temple.
Dedicated to providing an inclusive and comprehensive student-athlete experience, Temple University recognizes the importance of supporting women's athletics and aims to provide its female student-athletes with first-class resources and opportunities to excel on and off the field. This fundraising event will play a crucial role in achieving these goals and making a significant impact on the success of our women's sports programs.
Key stakeholders, including students, alumni, university staff, faculty, and community members are expected to attend the Diamond Dreams event. Through a campus tour, discussions with former student-athletes, and attendance at our women's basketball or women's lacrosse games taking place on the 10th, attendees will have the opportunity to celebrate and interact with women from different disciplines who support the Owls. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge and inspiration about Temple Athletics and our women's programs, fostering a support network that can drive change for these programs.
