Owls' Season Ends in AAC Semifinals

NASHVILLE - The No. 3 seeded Temple women's lacrosse team fell to No.2 seed James Madison in Thursday's AAC semifinals, 16-7. The Owls' season ends with a 9-7 overall record.
Amelia Wright and Maeve Tobin scored two goals apiece to lead the offense, with Mackenzie Roth adding three assists.
How it Happened
> The Dukes scored on the first possession to kick off a game-opening 4-0 run.
> Wright converted a free-position attempt at the 7:59 mark for the Owls' first goal, with Tobin adding her first later in the quarter.
> Erin King started the scoring in the second, with Wright and Tobin each netting their second before halftime.
> Sabrina Martin scored her third goal of the year at the 5:36 mark in the third, Temple's only goal of the quarter.
> Julie Schickling scored the Owls' final goal in the fourth.

> Riley Horoshko played the final three quarters in goal, setting career highs with 45 minutes played and eight saves. She more than doubled her career totals in both categories.
