Women's Lacrosse Earns Individual, Team Academic Accolades from IWLCA

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – 13 members of the Temple women's lacrosse team have been named to the IWLCA D1 Academic Honor Roll as announced by the organization on Wednesday. Additionally, the Owls were named an Academic Honor Squad.
Mia Ciancio, Katie Flynn, Taylor Grollman, Erin King, Belle Mastropietro, Taylor Moncman, Mackenzie Roth, Julie Schickling, Hannah Schrader, Katie Shallow, Maeve Tobin, Amelia Wright and Camryn Zavacky were selected to the honor roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
To earn the team honor, for the 2023-24 academic year, a school's women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year. The Owls were propelled to that number by earning a 3.72 team GPA in the spring.
Overall, 1,163 student-athletes from 113 schools were named to the D1 Academic Honor Roll. 325 teams between Division I, II, III and NAIA were selected as Academic Honor Squads.
