Temple University Athletics Department Welcomes Jeff Brandes as Director of Tennis

Temple University is excited to announce the appointment of Jeff Brandes as the new Director of Tennis. Brandes, who has been serving as the head coach for both men's and women's tennis teams at Fairleigh Dickinson University, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to the Owls' tennis program.
Jeff Brandes has been recognized for his exceptional coaching abilities, including being named the Landmark Conference Coach of the Year in 2010 and 2011, and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Coach of the Year in 2011. His career highlights include leading the men's program at Drew University to seven MAC Freedom Conference Championships, six Landmark Conference Titles, and five NCAA Tournament appearances. One of his men's doubles teams won the Northeast ITA regional, qualified for the Small College Nationals, and attained a rank of #7 nationally to earn All-American status.

"His passion for tennis and his commitment to excellence on and off the court have been evident over his impressive coaching career. In his new role at Temple University, Brandes will oversee both the men's and women's tennis teams, bringing his coaching techniques and strategic vision to the forefront. His appointment reiterates our commitment to fostering a competitive and dynamic environment for student-athletes.
