Temple Cross Country Competed at Main Line Invitational

AMBLER, Pa - Tempe men's and women's cross country competed in their third meet of the season today at the Main Line Invitational hosted by Haverford College. The men placed 7th out of 9 teams. The Owls next race will be on Saturday, Oct. 5th at the Paul Short Invitational.
Freshman Amelia Sabatino and Maya Gomes led the Cherry & White women's team, finishing strong in 35th and 44th places, both clocking in under 21 minutes. Junior Cole Frank made his season debut, placing the highest on the men's side, running 21:17.7. He scored 27 points for the team and finished 32 out of 100 racers. Team captain David Litvin was the second Owl to cross the line in 21:96.6 placing 41st.Â
Villanova took first overall on the women's side with Penn on the men's.Â
