PHILADELPHIA – In a first-of-its-kind event, Name, Image, and Likeness collectives from two institutions are partnering to bring together notable alumni for an event to call for support of their respective universities.
The TUFF Fund, a collective supporting Temple University student-athletes, and Team Unfurl, who provides resources and connections to St. Bonaventure men's basketball student-athletes, are pleased to announce, "A Night with Kevin Negandhi & Adrian Wojnarowski."
"Name, Image, and Likeness is a rapidly-changing world that requires creativity and forward thinking to capitalize on opportunity," Vice President/Debbie and Stanley Lefkowitz '65 Director of Athletics Arthur Johnson said. "This event on February 25 is an example of Temple and St. Bonaventure working together to benefit student-athletes. I would like to thank Kevin and Adrian for their commitment and dedication to the event. I am looking forward to February 25!"
Featuring prominent media personalities Kevin Negandhi, Temple University Class of 1998, and Adrian Wojnarowski, St. Bonaventure University Class of 1991, the event will be held on Tuesday, February 25 at Temple University's Mitten Hall beginning at 6:00 p.m.
"We share a lot of history and passion for college basketball with our rivals (and friends) at Temple and are thrilled to share an evening remembering back to our great days competing — and looking forward in conversations about how we're all navigating a new world in college basketball," Wojnarowski said. "Kevin Negandhi is a close friend and together we share an incredible passion for our alma maters. The Bonnies and Owls will have a fun night together in Philly, especially because it won't include us lining up against Coach Chaney in McGonigle Hall like the old days!"
The program will be followed by a private reception that will feature special guests and a meet and greet with Negandhi and Wojnarowski.
"I am thrilled that Temple is able to host such a unique and trailblazing event, bringing together two passionate alumni to talk about the past, present, and future of college basketball," TUFF Fund Executive Director Andy Carl said. "Leveraging our alumni and media market to bring value to our respective communities demonstrates an increased emphasis on revenue and brand opportunities for our student-athletes."
Registration fee for the event on Temple's campus is $50, and an additional $250 for the VIP event. Please click here for additional information and to register for the events.
