Temple Men's Basketball Set to Celebrate Program's 2,000th Win Saturday

The Temple University men's basketball team won the program's 2,000th game in December and is inviting all fans to come celebrate the accomplishment on Saturday, February 1 at Liacouras Center!

On December 18, the Owls defeated Davidson, 62-61, in thrilling fashion to become just the sixth NCAA Division I program to win 2,000 games. At halftime of the game against East Carolina (2:00 p.m. tipoff) on Saturday, all men's basketball alumni in attendance will be honored during a ceremony on court.

Fans in attendance will receive a commemorative 2,000-win poster, courtesy of Temple Athletics, and the first 1,000 fans will receive a free hat thanks to game sponsor Philadelphia Federal Credit Union.

In addition to the 2,000-win celebration, there will be a number of other fan engagement opportunities.
