Ford led all scorers with 23 points and added nine rebounds in a near double-double performance. He shot 6-of-14 from the field and went 9-of-10 from the free-throw line in the victory, while also recording two assists and a steal in 37 minutes of action.
The performance marked the sixth time in 12 games this season that the Magnolia, Ark., native scored at least 20 points. Ford currently ranks second in the American Conference in free throws made (71) and third in scoring at 18.5 points per game.
Since the start of the month, Ford has averaged 21.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while shooting .478 from the field, .440 from 3-point range and .838 from the free-throw line.
