12.30.25 | Football
Week 17 of the NFL season is in the books and it was yet another strong performance for Commanders' linebacker Jordan Magee (2019-23) and defensive end Jacob Martin (2014-17). Magee added five more tackles to his season total, including a TFL, his second in the last two weeks. Magee now ranks sixth on the Commanders' defense in total tackles. Martin added four tackles of his own while the Commanders would end up falling to the Cowboys, 30-23.Â
Head Coach Todd Bowles' (1982-85) Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell to the Dolphins in a narrow 20-17 contest. Linebacker Haason Reddick (2013-16) tied a season-high with four tackles including a TFL, his third in the last four games. Reddick exited the game late in the fourth quarter with a concussion.Â
Tight end David Martin-Robinson (2018-2023) continued to emerge as part of Tennessee's offense in its 34-26 loss to the Saints. He hauled in a nine-yard reception, the longest of his career, and had solid blocking in front of running back Tony Pollard. He also recorded two tackles on special teams.Â
Kicker Brandon McManus (2009-12) connected on his only field goal attempt in the Packers 41-24 loss to the Ravens. McManus has now successfully converted on his last 12 field goals and has not missed a kick since week 10.Â
Cornerback Rock Ya-Sin totaled four tackles in coverage during the Lions' 23-10 loss to the Vikings. Offensive lineman Michael Niese (2020-21) did not play. Â
Left tackle Dion Dawkins (2013-16) continued to be a steady presence for the Bills on the offensive line in their 13-12 loss to the Eagles. Safety Sam Franklin (2016-19) made his presence felt on special teams.Â
Defensive end Arnold Ebiketie (2017-20) played on defense but did not record any statistics in the Falcons' 27-24 win over the Rams. Cornerback Christian Braswell (2017-20) played three snaps in the Jaguars 23-17 win over the Colts. Offensive lineman Matt Hennessey (2016-19) did not play in the 49ers' 42-38 win over the Bears. Â
