Temple University to Debut New On-Campus Tennis Complex with Grand Opening on March 28

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple University tennis programs will celebrate an historic moment on Friday, March 28 with the grand opening of a brand-new, on-campus tennis complex.
The highly anticipated event will be held prior to the tennis doubleheader against Siena, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
"We are thrilled to open our new tennis courts, which not only elevate our program but also enhance the experience for both our players and fans," said Jeff Brandes, Temple's Director of Tennis. "With the ability to stream our matches live on ESPN+, we're bringing the excitement of college tennis to a broader audience while giving our athletes a platform to showcase their talents at the highest level."
The addition of the complex marks a new era for the program, offering top-of-the-line courts, enhanced spectator seating, and upgraded amenities that will benefit both players and fans alike.
Investing in these facilities underscores Temple University's commitment to excellence in athletics and student development.
"We are very excited to officially open our brand-new tennis complex on March 28," Vice President and Debbie and Stanley Lefkowitz '65 Director of Athletics Arthur Johnson said. "This project would not have been possible without the support of University leadership and the staff members who have spent many hours working on this from the beginning stages through completion."
"These courts are truly a game-changer, and we're excited to see the lasting impact they'll have on our team, the University, and the sport as a whole," Brandes added.
