Temple's Andrew Kempe set to Join League of Ireland's Galway United F.C.

PHILADELPHIA – Galway United F.C., of the League of Ireland Premier Division recently announced the signing of Temple alum goalkeeper Andrew Kempe.

Kempe is coming off an impressive 2024 campaign for Temple, allowing only six goals during the fall season. This mark is the lowest for an Owl with at least three starts since 2012. Kempe co-led Temple in achieving a conference-leading .875 save percentage.

Galway United F.C. competes in the League of Ireland Premier Division, the top tier of professional soccer in Ireland. The team currently ranks fifth in the Premier Division with one win and four draws.
