MEMPHIS, TN. - Men's tennis closed its American Athletic Conference Championship run with a 4-1 loss to Charlotte on Thursday morning in Memphis.

How It Happen

The Owls captured the doubles point, securing the early advantage with wins on courts one and two. Adam Kresina and Martim Marujo teamed up for a 6-3 victory, followed by Erden Er and Pranav Nemani clinching the point with a 6-4 win.
Charlotte answered with dominant singles performances, recording straight-set wins at No. 1, No. 3, No. 4, and No. 6 to seal the match.
Two matches, on courts two and five, went unfinished, with Kresina and Aayush Bhat battling in second sets. Despite the result, the Owls showed fight throughout the morning session and wrapped up their season with grit on championship grounds.
