Women’s Rowing Secures Two Medals at the 2025 Dad Vail Regatta

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – Temple women's rowing had a successful weekend on the Cooper River as they finished with two medals by the conclusion of the Dad Vail Regatta. The 2025 Dad Vail Regatta wraps up the spring season for the Owls.
The Second Varsity Eight boat finished Saturday's grand final with a third-place finish to take the bronze medal. The boat, led by coxswain Cassidy Burns, finished the final in 6:58.73, two seconds before the next boat crossed the finish line.
In the grand final of the third varsity eight, Temple took silver by a wide margin. The boat, led by coxswain Sofia Henningsen, finished the event in 7:19.93 which was 19 seconds faster than the third-place boat. For full results from Saturday's races, see below.
