Temple Volleyball Announces 2025 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Temple volleyball Head Coach Linda Hampton-Keith announced Wednesday afternoon the schedule for the 2025 season. The 31 game slate features 13 home games at McGonigle Hall in Philadelphia, 15 road contests, and three neutral site games.
The 2025 season will open on the road in Fargo, N.D. when the Owls face the Bowling Green Falcons in a neutral site contest on Friday, Aug. 29. The following day Temple will face North Dakota State in a road match in Fargo on Saturday, Aug. 30. The final stretch of this series will be at the University of North Dakota on Sunday, Aug. 31.
Temple will then travel to our nation's capital Washington, D.C. for a three-match stretch beginning on Friday, Sept. 4 against the George Washington Revolutionaries. While still in D.C. the Owls will face North Carolina Central on Saturday, Sept. 6. Georgetown will then play host to Temple on Sunday, Sept. 7 to close out the weekend.
The 2025 home opener at McGonigle Hall will feature a familiar opponent in the Villanova Wildcats. This game will be on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 4:00 p.m. This game and all home games for Temple will be streamed on ESPN+.
The Cherry & White will head back on the road, this time traveling to New York for a three-match weekend. On Friday, Sept. 12 Temple will take on Farleigh Dickinson at the historic Rose Hill Gym in the Bronx. Saturday, Sept. 13 Temple and Fordham will square off. The Owls will then travel to Hofstra to take on the Pride on Sunday, Sept. 14.
Temple will then return to Philadelphia for the second homestand of the season. The Cherry and White Invite will begin on Friday, Sept. 19 against Presbyterian College. The next day Temple will face the Quinnipiac Bobcats, and to close out the weekend the Owls will play Dartmouth.
Temple will travel to the University of Pennsylvania's campus on Tuesday, Sept. 23 for a battle with the Quakers before American Athletic Conference play begins.
To kickoff AAC play Temple will travel to Houston, Texas and take on the Rice Owls on Friday, Sept. 26. Temple will stay in the south and travel to Louisiana to face the Tulane Green Wave on Sunday, Sept. 28 to continue AAC play.
The month of October will kick off in Philadelphia when the USF Bulls travel to McGonigle Hall on Friday, October 3. The Owls will stay at home for the weekend and play host to FAU on Sunday, October 5. The final game of this home stretch will be on Friday, October 10 against the ECU Pirates.
Temple will again be on the road, this time traveling to Charlotte on Sunday, Oct. 12 before heading to face the FAU Owls in Boca Raton, Florida on Friday, Oct. 17. The Owls will stay in Florida for the second contest of the season against USF on Sunday, Oct. 19.
Back in Philadelphia, Temple will face the UAB Blazers on Friday, Oct. 24 and follow that up with a contest against the Memphis Tigers on Sunday, Oct. 26. Temple will conclude this homestand on Wednesday, Oct. 31 with a Halloween game against the Charlotte 49ers.
The final road-stretch of the season will begin on Sunday, Nov. 2 against ECU. Temple will then travel back to Texas for two games, the first being on Friday, Nov. 7 against the UTSA Roadrunners. They will close out the Texas road trip against North Texas on Sunday, Nov. 9.
Temple will take on a non-conference opponent late in the season on Wednesday, Nov. 12 when they host the Howard Bison at McGonigle Hall.
Shifting back to conference play to close out the regular season, Temple will host Tulsa on Friday, Nov. 14 and then the Wichita State Shockers on Sunday, Nov. 16. On the 21st of November the AAC will begin the 2025 AAC Volleyball Championships.
