Brackets Announced for 2025 Terry’s Chocolate ESPN Events Invitational

8.12.25 | Men's Basketball

Temple will play UC San Diego on Mon., Nov. 24 on ESPNU

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The brackets for the 2025 Terry's Chocolate ESPN Events Invitational were revealed Tuesday afternoon. The Temple University men's basketball team will open the three-games-in-three-days tournament against 2025 NCAA Tournament participant UC San Diego on Monday, Nov. 24, at 4:30 p.m. at State Farm Field House. The game will air on ESPNU.

The winner will advance to the semifinals to face the winner of Princeton and Bradley on Tuesday at 5 p.m. on ESPN2. The consolation matchup will be played at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday's championship game is scheduled for noon, followed by the third-place and seventh-place games at 2:30 and 5:30 p.m., respectively.

Temple will face UC San Diego for the first time in program history to open the multi-team event. The Tritons posted a 30-5 record last season, defeating UC Irvine in the Big West Championship Game. Their season ended with a 68-65 loss to Michigan in the NCAA Tournament First Round.

On Tuesday Nov. 25, the Owls will meet either Bradley or Princeton. Bradley leads the all-time series 4-2, with the most recent meeting during the 1996-97 season. Temple holds a 10-8 advantage over Princeton, with the last matchup resulting in a 60-47 win at Princeton on Dec. 6, 2005. Potential opponents for Wednesday's final game include Towson, Rhode Island, Liberty or Vermont.

This is the 19th year Walt Disney World has hosted the ESPN Events Invitational at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and the first time three different tournaments have been held at the site. All the games will once again be played at State Farm Field House, a venue that has been the site of world-class basketball competitions, including NBA games and elite youth tournaments.

Tickets for all three brackets are now on sale here!

All tickets include two back-to-back games within the same bracket. A complete schedule with session names can be viewed above/below. New in 2025, all tickets will include reserved seat assignments. There will be no general admission tickets. Fans can select their seats using Ticketmaster's interactive map.
