Owls in the NFL - Wild Card Weekend

We had an Owls vs Owls matchup in Jacksonville as cornerback Christian Braswell (2017-20) and the Jaguars played host to left tackle Dion Dawkins (2013-16), safety Sam Franklin (2016-19), former Owls running back Ray Davis (2019-20), and the Buffalo Bills. Dawkins helped anchor an offense that totaled 340 yards, including 273 through the air, while Davis returned four kickoffs for 119 yards. Braswell and Franklin did not log any defensive snaps, though Franklin recorded a tackle on special teams. The Bills secured a 27–24 victory and will advance to face the Broncos next Saturday in the Divisional Round. 

Offensive lineman Matt Hennessey's (2016-19) 49ers defeated the Eagles on the road by a score of 24-17. They will advance to battle the Seahawks on Saturday. 

Packers' kicker Brandon McManus (2009-12) converted three PATs in the Packers' 31-27 loss to the Bears.
