EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Silver Waves Media announced Monday that Temple University men's basketball assistant coach Bobby Jordan has been named to its Top 100 Most Impactful Mid-Major Assistant Coaches and General Managers list.
Jordan is in his third season at Temple and has helped guide the Owls to a 10-5 overall record and a 2-0 mark in the American Conference. The Owls are currently on a six-game winning streak, their longest since the 2014-15 season.
More than 40 previous Silver Waves Media Top 100 honorees have gone on to become head coaches.
"The seventh annual mid-major coaches and GMs lists have seen numerous coaches go on to become Division I head coaches," the organization said in a release. "The Silver Waves Media lists have become the industry standard for excellence. Our 2026 men's list features some of the most outstanding and impactful assistants and GMs in Division I men's basketball. After consulting with a panel of industry professionals, we present the 2026 100 Most Impactful Men's Mid-Major Assistants/GMs list."
A proven recruiter, Jordan helped assemble the 2024 recruiting class that ranked No. 1 in the conference by Rivals and was highlighted by Aiden Tobiason's selection to the American All-Freshman Team.
Jordan helped recruit Jamal Mashburn Jr., a three-time All-Mountain West standout, through the transfer portal. Mashburn thrived in his lone season in Cherry and White, earning spots on the American Conference Second Team and the All-Newcomer Team. He became Temple's first NABC All-District First Team selection since 2019-20.
Jordan's previous stops include UAlbany, Wagner, IMG Academy, Girard College and Drexel.
A Philadelphia native, Jordan is an alumnus of Roman Catholic High School and Drexel University.
