It was a Monday Night Football thriller as left tackle Dion Dawkins (2013-16), running back Ray Davis (2019-20), safety Sam Franklin (2016-19), and the Buffalo Bills defeated the Los Angeles Rams on a walk-off field goal in overtime. Davis set the tone early, returning the opening kickoff 70 yards to the Rams' 26-yard line to set up an eventual field goal. He also hauled in a 31-yard reception in the fourth quarter that helped set up a Bills touchdown. Buffalo totaled 436 yards of offense, including 234 on the ground, with Dawkins helping pave the way for the team's productive rushing attack throughout the night. Franklin did not record any statistics.
The Philadelphia Eagles traveled across the pond to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London on Sunday. Eagles linebacker Arnold Ebiketie (2017-20) saw increased playing time with multiple linebackers sidelined. He made the most of the opportunity, recording three tackles and two quarterback hits. Jacksonville ultimately prevailed, 19-17, on a walk-off field goal by Cam Little. Earlier in the week, the Jaguars released cornerback Christian Braswell (2017-20).
Titans' linebacker Jacob Martin (2014-17) recorded a sack for the second consecutive week during Tennessee's 26-3 loss to the Houston Texans. Martin now has 2.5 sacks and 15 total quarterback pressures on the season. Tight end David Martin-Robinson (2018-23) did not play in the loss.
Head Coach Todd Bowles (1982-85) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earned a victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football. After trailing 10-7 at halftime, Tampa Bay scored 17 unanswered points in the second half and held on for a 24-16 win.
Cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (2018) was inactive for the Detroit Lions' 45-21 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
