EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Temple University men's basketball assistant coaches Bobby Jordan and Courtney Eldridge have been named to Silver Waves Media's 2026 Most Impactful/Influential Mid Major Assistant Coaches list.
Jordan enters his fourth season on head coach Adam Fisher's staff in 2026-27, while Eldridge begins his first season with the Owls after joining the program in April following one season at Elon.
Both coaches have previously earned recognition from Silver Waves Media. Jordan received Most Impactful Mid-Major Assistant Coach honors in January 2026, while Eldridge earned the same distinction and was recognized as a 2026 Rising Star during his time at Elon.
The honors add to the Silver Waves recognition earned by Temple's coaching staff. Fisher was named one of the nation's top 50 high-major assistant coaches in April 2020 while at Miami.
Silver Waves Media selects its honorees in consultation with a panel of industry professionals. More than 40 previous honorees have gone on to become head coaches.
Jordan's previous coaching stops include UAlbany, Wagner, IMG Academy, Girard College and Drexel. A Philadelphia native, he is an alumnus of Roman Catholic High School and Drexel University.
Eldridge brings experience in recruiting and player development from his time at Elon and Iowa. During the 2025-26 season, he helped Elon increase its scoring average to 78.1 points per game while improving its field goal and 3-point shooting percentages.
Before Elon, Eldridge served on Fran McCaffery's staff at Iowa as a video coordinator, director of recruiting and player development, and assistant coach. During his tenure, the Hawkeyes won the 2022 Big Ten Tournament and earned five NCAA Tournament berths. He worked with standout players including two-time national player of the year Luka Garza and All-Americans Keegan Murray and Kris Murray.
A former standout at UNC Greensboro, Eldridge earned first-team All-Southern Conference honors twice and remains the program's career assists leader. His No. 23 jersey is retired, and he played professionally overseas for 12 seasons before beginning his coaching career.
