Owls Battle In Historic Paul Short Run

Bethlehem, Pa - Temple men's and women's cross country ran this morning in the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University.
The men's team placed 19th out of 35 schools in the Men's College Gold 8K race. They finished with a total of 552 points. The top runner for the Owls was senior Noé Sengel, coming in 48th out of 329 runners. Wingate won the overall meet for the men with a total of 58 points after having five runners finish in the top 20.
On the women's side, freshman Olivia DiGateano led all Owls, coming in 112th out of 341 athletes. Liberty placed first in the women's 6K with a total of 115 points as they had three athletes finish in the top 25. Temple placed 28th out of 37 schools, combining for 765 points in the Women's College Gold 6K race.
