How It Happened
Temple had four shots through the first half with one on goal. A few of which were scoring chances but Temple was unable to have any reach the back of the net. Florida Atlantic capitalized on a set piece in the 32nd minute to break the scoreless game. They would go into halftime leading Temple, 1-0.
In the second half, Temple started to find momentum as they were connecting passes more effectively. This led to Carlos Rojas (4) finding an equalizer in the 69th minute. Just a minute later, Taimoor Hussain scored his first of the season, putting Temple ahead. It marked the first time this season that the Owls scored two goals in one game. Florida Atlantic were unable to crack the strong defense the Owls displayed for the remaining 20 minutes of the match. Resulting in a 2-1 victory for Temple to mark their first of the season.
