IRVING, Texas – After averaging 20.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in the final week of the regular season, Temple University sophomore guard Aiden Tobiason was named to the conference's weekly honorable mention list, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Facing Tulane and Tulsa, the native of Wilmington, Delaware, shot 50 percent from the field, posted a .444 mark from 3-point range and made all 12 free-throw attempts.

Against the Green Wave, Tobiason recorded 21 points, seven rebounds, three assists and a steal without committing a turnover in Temple's 89-60 win, the largest victory over a conference opponent and the team's most lopsided league win since a 39-point victory over St. Bonaventure on Feb. 7, 2007.

In the regular-season finale against Tulsa, Tobiason totaled 19 points and seven rebounds in a tight 78-76 loss.

Tobiason ranks fourth in the conference in field goal percentage (.478), fifth in minutes per game (35:18), seventh in free-throw percentage (.813), 11th in free throws made (122), 12th in points (479) and free-throw attempts (150), 13th in field goals made (155) and 14th in scoring average (15.5 ppg).

Tobiason has now earned conference weekly recognition four times during his sophomore season.

Temple opens postseason play Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET in the first round of the conference championships against Florida Atlantic at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. The game will broadcast on ESPN+.
