Day 1 Recap: 2026 Knecht Cup Regatta

CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Temple women's rowing wrapped up the opening day on the Cooper River at the 2026 Knecht Cup Regatta. Five boats from today will compete in tomorrow's semifinals and finals beginning at 7:30 am.
"We saw a lot of great racing and progress across the board from all boats and we are eager to line up again tomorrow and keep making gains as a team. The 3V8 launched prepared to race, but due to race delays and event operation issues, we were required to complete the course alone in a time trial format. I'm so proud of how they stuck together and represented Temple with pride in the face of adversity," said head coach Rebecca Grzybowski.
