Horoshko, Mazzei and Stankavage Received Weekly American Honors

PHILADELPHIA - Riley Horoskho, Brooke Mazzei and Kaitlyn Stankvage received weekly honors from the American Conference following their dominant performance against Vanderbilt. Riley Horoshko received Goalkeeper of the Week, Brooke Mazzei received Freshman of the Week and Katilyn Stankavage earned Defensive Player of the Week.Â
Riley Horoskho delivered a strong performance in goal, recording 10 saves on 20 shots for a .714 save percentage. The outing marked her seventh double-digit save performance of the season, and she also surpassed 100 career saves.
Freshman Brooke Mazzei paced the Owls offensively with a dominant showing, opening the scoring with back-to-back goals. She finished with a team-high four goals while adding four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Kaitlyn Stankavage anchored the defensive effort, leading the team with four ground balls. She also forced two turnovers and secured three draw controls, extending her streak to 14 consecutive games with at least one draw control.
