Owls Set to Host ODU

PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's lacrosse will return home to host Old Dominion on Saturday, April 4 at noon at Howarth Field. The game will feature a giveaway, with the first 100 students receiving a Temple lacrosse tote bag upon entry.

OWLS IN THE NEST 
Temple is coming off a 16–10 loss to James Madison. Graduate student Amelia Wright led the Owls offensively with a season-high five goals, surpassing 100 career goals in the game.

Kaitlyn Stankavage recorded a career-high four caused turnovers in the contest and currently ranks third in the conference and 44th nationally in caused turnovers. As a team, Temple has forced double-digit turnovers in eight games this season and ranks second in the conference in that category.

Freshman Brooke Mazzei led the team with four draw controls while adding two caused turnovers and two ground balls as part of Temple's 18 ground balls in the game.

SCOUTING ODU 
Old Dominion is coming off a 21–3 loss to USF. The Monarchs are led offensively by Natalie Calandra-Ryan, who has totaled 21 goals, 38 points, and 56 draw controls this season. ODU leads the conference in clear percentage at 90.9%.

Temple leads the all-time series, 17–7, and has won the last six meetings between the programs.

UP NEXT
The Owls will remain at Howarth Field to host Vanderbilt on Saturday for Senior Day. Temple will honor 12 student-athletes, with first draw set for noon on ESPN+.
