Martin, Mazzei and Stankavage Received Weekly American Honors

PHILADELPHIA - Sabrina Martin, Brooke Mazzei and Kaitlyn Stankavage received weekly honors from the American Conference following their dominant performance against Old Dominion. Sabrina Martin received Midfielder of the Week, Brooke Mazzei received Freshman of the Week while Katilyn Stankavage earned honorable recognition. 

Midfielder Sabrina Martin played a key role in Temple winning 17 draws by leading the team with six draw controls. She also paced the team in points with six, recording two goals and a career-high four assists.

The Owls' defense created 10 turnovers, highlighted by Kaitlyn Stankavage, who caused three turnovers. Stankavage also contributed one assist, three ground balls, and five draw controls, marking her 13th game with at least one draw control this season.

Freshman Brooke Mazzei added two goals, three ground balls, one caused turnover, and three draw controls.
