Courtney Eldridge to Participate in Inaugural NABC Flight School

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Temple University men's basketball assistant coach Courtney Eldridge will take part in the inaugural NABC Flight School, the organization announced Wednesday.
The invitation-only event, set to take place on the Nike Philip H. Knight Campus outside Portland, will provide high-level programming targeted at ascending assistant coaches and athletics administrators. NABC Flight School will feature educational panel discussions, mock interviews and opportunities to build connections between participants and influential head coaches, athletic directors, conference commissioners and search firm representatives.
Eldridge enters his first season on Adam Fisher's staff in 2026-27 after spending the 2025-26 season at Elon. He was named a 2026 Silver Waves Media Rising Star and one of the organization's Top 100 Most Impactful Mid-Major Assistants as a member of the Phoenix coaching staff.
He previously spent 10 seasons on Fran McCaffery's staff at Iowa, beginning as video coordinator from 2016-19 before being promoted to director of recruiting and player development from 2019-22 and assistant coach from 2022-25.
During his time in Iowa City, the Hawkeyes won the 2022 Big Ten Tournament and earned five NCAA Tournament berths.
Participants for the inaugural NABC Flight School were identified in consultation with head coaches, conference offices, search firms, athletics administration associations and other college sports stakeholders.
Eldridge is one of just two American Conference assistant coaches selected for the event, joining Tulsa's Duffy Conroy.
