Bermudez Named to 2026 Paul Hornung Award Preseason Watch List

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Louisville Sports Commission announced its 2026 preseason watchlist for the Paul Hornung Award. Fifth year wide receiver JoJo Bermudez was named to the watchlist ahead of the 2026 season.
The Paul Hornung Award is given annually by the Louisville Sports Commission (LSC) to the most versatile player in major college football. The Award was created by the LSC in January 2010 with the support of the Golden Boy himself, Paul Hornung, a native and lifelong resident of Louisville and member of the College and Pro Football Halls of Fame.
In his first season with the Owls, Bermudez hauled in 38 passes for 500 yards and four touchdowns while averaging 15.0-yards on 10 punt returns.
