Men's & Women's Cross Country Teams Announce 2026 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University's men's and women's cross country teams will host the 2026 Temple Owl Invitational on Friday, September 4, as part of the 2026 schedule that was announced today.
The lone home meet for the Owls will be held at the Ambler Campus (580 Meetinghouse Road). The women's 4K race will commence at 5:00 p.m., and the men's four-mile race is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
Two weeks later, the Owls will split up as the men will travel to Huntsville, Ala. on Friday, September 18, to compete in the Southern Showcase with a stacked field of nearly 50 other schools. The women will travel to Montgomery, NY on Saturday, September 19, for a very competitive regional meet in the Jasper Fall XC Invitational.Â
The Owls will have three road meets in October, at Lehigh (Oct. 2), at Princeton (Oct. 16), and at Haverford (Oct. 23). They will start postseason action on Saturday, October 31, in New Orleans, La. at the American Conference Championships. The NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals are set for Friday, November 13 at Lehigh. The season concludes in Terre Haute, Ind. with the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 21.
