Atton Named to 2026 Ray Guy Award Preseason Watchlist

Augusta, GA. – The Augusta Sports Council announced Friday morning the Preseason Watch List for the 2026 Ray Guy Award. Senior punter Dante Atton is one of 21 FBS punters on the list.
Named for football's premier punter, the Ray Guy Award honors the nation's top collegiate punter in the FBS.
The Australian native has punted 62 times in 2025 for a total of 2,615 yards. Atton averaged 42.18 yards per punt this season and his long went for 60 yards. He has pinned opponents within their own 20-yard line 27 times this season. In the final regular season game against North Texas, four of Atton's five punts pinned opponents within the 10-yard line. He pinned the Mean Green at its own seven, five, and one-yard line twice in the contest.
