Banham's Late Goal Lifts Temple Past Hampton

NORFOLK, Va. – Danica Banham scored the game-winner in the 82nd minute to secure a 1-0 Temple (1-1) victory over Hampton (0-2) on Saturday afternoon.
Giovanna Echavarria led the Owls with four shots, while Maddie Ward and Linnea Linden both earned assists. Ana Zivkovic recorded two saves in her first collegiate shutout against Hampton.
How It Happened
Echavarria led Temple in shots and had just as many shots as Hampton's whole team with four.
Jenna Daveler recorded two shots against Hampton, while Katelyn Revelle, Ofri Sacker, Valentina Bitterwolf and Amaya Hill also produced shots against the Pirates.
