PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's rowing head coach Rebecca Grzybowski announced Monday the hiring of Natalie Dee as an assistant coach. Dee spent four years as a varsity rower at cross-town rival La Salle University.

"I've been aware of Natalie since she was a student-athlete on the Schuylkill and I'm thrilled to bring her to Temple in a coaching role," said Grzybowski. "She is eager to learn and I can't wait to see how her competitive energy and high performance mentality impacts the team."

Dee brings rowing experience from both the United States and the United Kingdom. She graduated from La Salle University in 2025 with a double major in Marketing and Sport Management. During her four years in the Varsity 8+, Natalie helped make program history, stroking the boat to La Salle's first-ever A-10 Grand Final appearance in 2023. In 2024 and 2025, she helped the team set consecutive program records for A-10 Championship team points. Natalie will pursue her MS in Sport Business while assisting with the Temple Women's Rowing program. During her time at La Salle, Dee was coached by now current Temple Associate Head Coach Kelsey Franks for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to be an Assistant Coach for Temple Women's Rowing. This is a team with a proven history of success, and I am looking forward to working with the team to continue training and performing at such a high standard," said Dee. " I am excited to be under the guidance of Coach Rebecca and Coach Kelsey and working alongside other amazing coaching staff. Coach Kelsey was an extraordinarily driven and dedicated coach of mine during my time at La Salle University, and I am glad to have the opportunity to strive to match her success as a leader and role model.
