LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. — Following a nearly 90-minute weather delay, Temple women's soccer (4-1) battled through the elements to earn a 2-1 road victory over Rider (1-1-1) on Thursday evening at Ben Cohen Field.

Amaya Hill opened the scoring in the fourth minute before Victoria Pimenta doubled the Owls' advantage in the 14th minute. Rider pulled one back in the 81st minute, but Temple held on to secure its fourth consecutive victory.

What It Means

Tonight's win over Rider marks the Owls' fourth straight victory. It is the first time since 2014 that Temple has recorded four consecutive wins, when the Owls won six straight.
